  1. Keep in mind that all people are human. Those whom you may perceive as ‘cool’ are not fundamentally different from you. Everyone has their own struggles, uncertainties, and fears. Avoid thinking of them as superior to yourself.
  1. Be kind to yourself and acknowledge your accomplishments. Reflect on the positive things you’ve done and how much you’ve grown. Don’t be too hard on yourself, instead remind yourself of your progress and successes.
  2. Step out of your comfort zone to overcome shyness. Try joining a club or attending events to expose yourself to uncomfortable situations. As you gradually become more comfortable in these situations, you will gain confidence.
  3. Boost your confidence by taking care of your physical appearance. If you feel good about how you look, you’ll be more confident in social situations. Conversely, if you dislike your appearance, you may feel shy and self-conscious.
  4. Embrace mistakes as a natural part of learning and growth. Remember that nobody is perfect and it’s okay to make mistakes. Each mistake is an opportunity to learn and become a better person.
  5. Don’t get bogged down in excessive planning. Instead, take action and start doing things. As you gain more experience, you’ll become more confident in your abilities.
  6. Believe in yourself even if you don’t initially feel confident. You can train your brain to believe in yourself by repeating positive affirmations. For example, say “I am a confident person” before going to bed each night.
  7. Take calculated risks to pursue your dreams. If your dream seems too daunting, break it down into smaller, more manageable steps. By taking risks and making progress towards your goals, you’ll build confidence along the way.
